Rope Cobra is a compact, handheld tool that grips and advances rope incrementally under load, letting one person pull heavy lines through conduit, over pulleys, or across a job site without hand-over-hand strain.

Two opposing cams bite down on the rope and advance it with each squeeze of the handle, then hold their grip while you reset for the next pull. This gives controlled, one-directional movement with no backsliding.

Electricians pulling wire through conduit are the primary users, but contractors, general construction crews, and rope rescue teams doing haul-system work all face the same rope-under-load challenge Rope Cobra solves.

We're finalizing the exact supported range through field testing. Early prototypes have handled standard synthetic pull rope and static rescue line; the finished spec sheet will list exact diameters at launch.

Safety is central to the design. The opposing-cam grip is built to resist slippage under load. As with any load-bearing tool, always follow proper technique and your organization's safety procedures.

No special certification is required to operate the tool itself, but anyone doing rope work, especially rescue or high-load pulls, should already be trained in proper rigging and rope-handling practice for their field.

Yes. The same controlled, low-slippage pull that helps electricians also applies to rope rescue and haul-system operations. We're actively exploring this use case and welcome input from rescue professionals.
